Our students attend the foundations flintlock rifle and pistol classes to experience making a flintlock by their own hand while learning traditional skills. Some go on to use their rifles to hunt with, and while many may chase trophies, others do it to put meat on their dinner table.
Below are a few photos of game harvested with the rifles built by former students in our seminars.

Mark Dufresne from our NMLRA Rifle Class. Mark’s dream as a teen was to build a flintlock and hunt with it; he did a fine job harvesting this nice bear.
Mark Dufresne from our NMLRA Rifle Class. Mark also went squirrel hunting with the rifle he made in class with his trusty Feist.
Ted Thompson from our Foxfire Rifle Class. Its his second deer with the rifle and he’s loving it!
