Flintlock Rifle and Complete Bag Set Raffle

$10.00

The Hershel House’s Woodbury Foundation proudly presents this stunning flintlock rifle, generously donated by Wayne Estes.

This rifle is a .50 caliber Kibler Woodsrunner, featuring custom additions such as decorative moldings and a Cain single set trigger from Buck Ridge Flintlocks. The gun is fitted with a sliding wood patchbox and traditional open sights. The stock is finished with Wayne's blend of ferric nitrate and other stains, and all metal parts were given a patina finish, adding a unique touch of warmth and character.

Wayne and Hershel were well-acquainted, and for a time they shot together as members of the Kentucky Corp of Longriflemen. Wayne's gracious donation is a great tribute to Hershel House, and the proceeds from this raffle present an opportunity to support the foundation and its goal of preserving Hershel's legacy.

The rifle will be paired with a fine hunting pouch set featuring a hand stitched bag by noted leatherworker Maryellen Pratt, a Virginia style powder horn made by the prolific hornsmith Tim Crosby, and a classic Woodbury antler handled patch knife by board member Rick Brown. To round out the set, Ian Pratt added a forged iron strap buckle, small accoutrements, and a handmade adjustable powder measure.

We are partnering with the Granville Allen Post VFW (Kentucky Charitable Gaming License Number 0002672) to raffle this amazing rifle and bag set. All proceeds will be donated to Hershel House’s Woodbury School Foundation.

  • You will receive a physical copy of your ticket via U.S. mail and a text with a photo of your ticket.

  • The drawing will be held at 6:00 pm CST on 10/18/2025 at VFW Post #5837, 573 Veterans Way, Morgantown, KY 42261. You don’t have to be present to win.

  • Total prize value is $3000.00.
