The Hershel House and the Woodbury School present this stunning flintlock rifle and bag set for raffle

This rifle was donated by Wayne Estes, it is a .45 caliber Kibler Woodsrunner, featuring custom additions such as decorative moldings and a Cain single set trigger from Buck Ridge Flintlocks. The gun is fitted with a sliding wood patchbox and traditional open sights. The stock is finished with Wayne's blend of ferric nitrate and other stains, and all metal parts were given a patina finish, adding a unique touch of warmth and character.

The rifle is paired with a fine hunting pouch set featuring a hand stitched bag and loom woven powder horn strap by noted leatherworker Maryellen Pratt, a Virginia style powder horn made by the prolific hornsmith Tim Crosby, and a classic Woodbury antler handled patch knife by board member Rick Brown. To round out the set, Ian Pratt added a forged iron strap buckle, small accoutrements, and a handmade adjustable powder measure.
